Added: 05 August 2012 | Read 276 times

Ever since he announced his eighth solo project Trouble Man, fans have been patiently waiting for T.I. to deliver his long-awaited album. Now, in a recent interview with MTV, Tip explained that listeners are going to have to wait a little while longer for its release.

The Grand Hustle impresario revealed that Trouble Man would not be completed by its expected release date of September 4. He elaborated, saying he's still pairing down the whopping 86 possible songs for the final cut. Despite this, T.I. is still eyeing a 2012 release for his latest effort.

“Me being the perfectionist that I am, I’m still tweaking and fine-tuning, trying to perfect all parts of this project," he said. "I did, like, 124 songs, and I’ve narrowed it down to 86 now, so now I have to continue to narrow down and continue to make it better...I'm not trying to paint myself into a corner with a date. I’m trying to make sure that the project is the absolute best it could be, and I’m trying to get it down by the end of the year."
